Gehört mein Leben mir?
Gehört dein Leben dir?
Nein, wir haben Leben hier
durch die unverdiente Gnade unsres Herrn.

Hat mein Leben einen Sinn?
Hat dein Leben einen Sinn?
Geht dein Leben so dahin,
ohne dass du weißt, wozu du bist bestimmt?

Gott ist's, der uns das Leben gab, um ihn zu ehrn.

Jesus spricht: Wer sein Leben über alles liebt,
der wird es am Ende verliern.
Doch wer bereit ist, sein Leben für Gott völlig einzusetzen,
wird es erhalten in Ewigkeit.

Wo führt mein Leben hin?
Wo führt dein Leben hin?
Was bleibt für ein Gewinn,
wenn wir einmal vor ihm stehn?

Werd ich dann zu ihm gehn?
Wirst du dann zu ihm gehn?
Können wir vor ihm bestehn,
wenn wir einmal von der Erde gehn?

Ihn sollen wir anbeten unser ganzes Leben lang!

Und seinen Lohn wird er von Gottes Hand empfangen.
Und dann wird er bei ihm sein in alle Ewigkeit.

It is God who gave us life in order to honor Him.

Jesus says: Anyone who holds on to life just as it is
Will lose it in the end.
But if you let it go and surrender totally to God
You will keep it for eternal life.

Where does my life lead?

What will be left of it
When we will stand in front of Him one day?

Will I go to Him?
Will you go to Him?
Will we be able to stand before Him
When we will leave this earth one day?

We are supposed to worship Him our whole life long!

And he will be rewarded by the hand of God.
And then He will spend eternity with Him.
