1) O, Lord, have mercy, I trust in your steadfast love,
wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin, for I know my transgressions,
and I see my sin is ever before me.

2) Purge me with hysop, and I shall be clean,
wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.
Let me hear thy Joy and fulfill me with your gladness.
