With the morn in radiance breaking    

1) With the morning radiance breaking
Earth in all her glory waking,
Sky and sea, Thine own creation,
Hymn Thee, Lord, in adoration.

2) Man whom Thou hast richly dowered,
Blessings on his head hast showered;
All ungrateful, shamed before Thee,
Man alone does not adore Thee.

3) Scarce from sleep my thoughts awaken
When to Thee my vows are taken;
Thou, whose robe is gladsome nature,
Lord of every grateful creature.

4) Death hath many captives numbered
While in peace we calmly slumbered;
Now the newborn day arriving
Summons us to noble striving.
